Vines, sunshine and the stunning landscapes of Gisborne were the backdrop for us to tell the story of Lake Road Wines.

With a strong push into the US and European markets, this third-generation vineyard needed a brand video and library of still images that told its story. It needed to capture the unique philosophy of the two brothers who now run the vineyard.

Juggling changeable weather and a fast deadline (the brothers had a wine festival and sales meeting to attend in Europe) we jumped on a plane and managed to capture the ‘first to see the light’ story before the weather packed in.

Every brand has a story to tell. And the value that can be gained from being able to connect and engage with your market through emotive story-led video is priceless. The video was shown to several wine distributors overseas and has proved a hit. The result is increased order sizes for the coming years.

Video is a marketing necessity. So we were happy that the marketing team at Lake Road Wines took our advice and saw the value in creating more than one video. Making the most of the footage we shot has allowed us to create not only the brand video but also a series of social videos that they can release over the coming months to gain further brand traction.
