That’s a wrap for Mayors Taskforce for Jobs

Back in early 2021 we were contacted by Local Government to assist them with a campaign to attract young people to move and work in the regions.

With four locations to be featured including Opotiki, Mackenzie District, Clutha and Otorohanga with brief was to create a series of short videos, feature one of the locals in each area, to act as a guide and highlight the key attractions and work opportunities of the area.

Working with each council independently we devised the ‘Think Rural’ campaign and then worked closely with each council to ensure our scripts capture the area accurately.

However, what should have been a straight for week of shooting and travelling was hampered by lockdowns and covid and the project met numerous delays.

So we are please after several long delays to finally be wrapping the post production of the project and delivering the remaining videos to be launched on social media by each local council.

We always enjoy projects like these. Be able to visit and discover parts of small town New Zealand and working with and meeting the local residents is always a pleasure.

Check out the MacKenzie District ‘Think Rural’ video.
